Human Performance Consultant - German Speaking

We are looking for a German speaking Human Performance Consultant who has experience with utilising best practices and innovation in multidisciplinary, multi-sport high-performing teams.

As a Human Performance Consultant you will need to be able to manage multiple client projects from stakeholder engagement, need analysis, requirement scoping, data management, reporting and providing recommendations. To assist you with this you will be supported by the wider consulting team who works closely with Sports Scientists, Data Scientists and Software Engineers to provide exceptional client service with a world-leading product, Smartabase.

You will receive comprehensive training on configuration and client support and work closely with a variety of leading individuals to build and implement Smartabase within their organisations. Our Human Performance Consulting Services Team works globally with team members based in Australia, USA, Netherlands and UK.

This position can be based in our Reading, UK office or alternately remote from the Netherlands with regular visits to the UK.

What you ll do:

Smartabase development

• Build within the Smartabase domain, world-class best practice forms and work flow solutions to meet client requirements
• Contribute to concept planning and identification of future platform enhancements, third party integrations
• Platform and client support including troubleshooting, testing and reporting on platform issues bugs and communicating with clients, and internal teams

Planning, Documentation and Communications

• Accountable for the development of client-specific project planning documentation with an understanding of prioritization across numerous projects within the Smartabase Consulting Team
• Contribute to the planning and communications required to ensure that the client projects identified are well-scoped, prepared and developed
• Ensure planning and documentation is visible and understood by all members of the relevant project and associated teams (e.g. knowledge, developers, Smartabase Consulting team)
• Contribute to and facilitate agile processes to enhance cross-team communication and skill sharing as guided by the team manager
• Attend, organise and contribute to meetings related to project planning/development as required

You should have:

• Degree in Sports and Exercise Science (or similar) with a strong academic record
• 1+ years applied sports science experience in a high-performance sport environment(s)
• Fluency in German and English (Mandatory)
• Strong relationship management skills
• Understanding requirements of High-Performance coaches, support teams and the common workflows of multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated practical experience in the use of a variety of sport science equipment (including sensor technology, signal processing and video analysis systems) for testing and monitoring purposes
• Experience of utilising data management tools to develop reports, analysis or feedback to influence coaching decision pathways
• Strong understanding of MS Excel and data management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly developed organisational and time management skills
• Previous experience working with any Athlete Data Management System, Medical Software, Smartabase (either as a user or a Builder/Admin) - (Highly Desirable)
• Experience with various data analysis and statistics packages such as R
• Familiarity or experience with the British Armed Forces - (Highly Desirable)
