The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician to join our team on our Forticrete site in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. The shifts consist of 12 hour permanent day shifts (07:00 - 19:00) in a Panama shift pattern. For example, on 3 days, off 2 days, on 2 days, off 3 days etc..)
The role is paying GBP22,801 + 16.5% shift allowance and 5% bonus.
Candidates do not essentially need to have a Quality background but the ability to understand a process and relate sample data to correct and improve it are desirable. Training will be provided to the successful applicant.
The role involves being a member of a multi-functional quality team aiming to achieve key targets within Quality, Safety and the Environment.
Hours of work will be a shift pattern with a daily 30 minute paid break but the role may require flexibility in the work pattern.
Key Responsibilities Include
Carrying out standardized quality checks on: The full range of products produced, raw materials, bought in goods, packaging, returned goods and plastic fittings.
Assisting in QA system audits.
Assist in maintaining Quality Management System.
Assist in root cause analysis as part of a team (8D Procedure including Root Cause Analysis 5 whys GO-Look-See)
