Position: Training Administrator
Location: Dolgarrog (Hybrid)
Contract: Initial 12-Month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Full time
Salary/Benefits: Up to GBP31,000 (PAYE, hourly)

Role Details - Training Administrator
We are currently looking for a proactive Training Administrator to join a vital team on an initial 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

You will be responsible for maintaining training records and related communication for the team.

Key responsibilities of the Training Administrator
Providing general support to contractors on all mandatory training questions/issues.
Liaising with the Contractor Resource Management department regarding new starters and leavers.
Making contact with contractors/managers to determine mandatory training requirements specific to their role.
Obtaining copies of any mandatory training to upload onto the training system.
Registering Contractors for their mandatory online manual handling and provision of details to complete the course.
Uploading of certificates onto training system on completion.
Maintaining the training system for Contractors updated (expediting certificates close to expiry/archiving those whom have left/amending contract end dates and any management changes).
Inputting of training information onto internal databases.
For new employees or those not on the training system, execute checks with relevant managers and receive approval of the employees mandatory training requirements.
Booking training with Training Providers after discussion with employee regarding suitable dates & locations.
Following up on any FTE's whom are not responding to initial requests.
Updating the training system upon each action (Employee Contacted > Training Booked > Awaiting Certificate > Complete).
Managing payments for courses (generally with payment via a purchase order).
Liaise with finance department to confirm the payments.
Updating payment details onto Teams database with information such as the employees cost code and purchase order number.
Attend fortnightly teams meeting with lead training advisor to resolve current issues (updating agendas).

Key skills required of the Training Administrator
Professional experience in administration.
Very good knowledge of MS Office.
Independent, responsible and structured way of working as well as the ability to work in a team.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
