This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Events Team as an Event Planner with responsibility for the end-to-end management of a portfolio of events supporting Anaesthetists at all stages of their careers. Responsible for all aspects of event management, the role includes logistics, marketing, sponsorship management, administration and budgeting.

This role offers a high level of autonomy and would suit a confident Event Planner who is keen to work under their own initiative and play an active part in driving improvement.

As a Royal College, we offer a wide range of educational events, from simulation-based training days to lecture-based conferences. Our events are aimed at doctors in anaesthesia, critical care and pain medicine with attendance ranging from 20 to 350 delegates.

During the pandemic the majority of our events have been delivered online, we will continue to run a number of events and webinars in this format, online event experience for this role will be a real bonus, including experience on zoom webinar and video editing suites.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic, forward-thinking team at an exciting time as we continue to implement our education strategy and digitisation of events.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Event Planner with a passion for events and proficient in successfully managing multiple projects at the same time. As a team, we are proactive, professional, calm and confident with an organised outlook and hardworking attitude and we are looking for a like-minded colleague, ready to deliver a world-class programme for our members.

This role would be ideal for an Event Planner with proven experience within a similar organisation or a competent well-rounded administrator/assistant looking to take on more responsibility.

At RCoA diversity, equality and inclusion is an integral part of our culture so it is important to us that this is reflected in everything that we do. We welcome applications from all individuals irrespective of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion or belief, disability, marital status or parental responsibilities to ensure we actively embrace an inclusive and representative culture that encourages, supports and celebrates our differences.
