You will perform hands on hardware security assessments and act as lead for a team of security engineers performing hardware and software assessments of consumer-facing devices and services. You will work closely with product engineering teams to help them understand vulnerabilities and remediation solutions.

From UX and UI to product strategy and hardware engineering, we bring new devices like Sky Glass and NOW to life at top speed and support them throughout the lifecycle.

• Experience extracting firmware from NAND and EMMC chips
• Experience with firmware decomplilation and analysis using tools like IDAPro and Binwalk
• Identification of hardware components like UARTs, JTAGs via pinouts, visually via board layout and/or via logic analyzer/scope, including experience with hands-on electrical work fort example peeling back boards and soldering
• Deep knowledge of Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows OS platforms and IP network protocols and configuration
• Proficiency in programming and source code analysis of x86 ASM, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, HTML5, CSS3, HMTL5 and other languages used in customer-facing devices and interfaces
• Awareness of past and current security vulnerabilities and hacking techniques
• Familiarity with common RF protocols like 802.11, 802.15
• Familiarity with soft pen-testing tools like NMAP, Burp, and Nessus

• Good interpersonal skills and a strong team-orientation
• Demonstrable enthusiasm for your work
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical issues in an easy to understand manner
