Procurement Manager
Location: West Byfleet
Salary: GBP35,000 PA
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.30 - hybrid working only 1 or 2 days in the office

Summary of a Procurement Manager
Your role will be to work in collaboration with the functional stakeholders, operational and commercial teams, reporting to the Head of Procurement

Key Responsibilities of a Procurement Manager
• Implement our Clients sourcing process and strategies for goods or services, utilising the Telecoms Division commercial purpose-built contract models and templates in adherence to business policies and procedures.
• Instigate and support the end to end PQQ and pre-check on-boarding process via the M Group Supply Chain Control Optimus system and maintain our Clients Approved Supplier database accordingly.
• Work collaboratively with the functional stakeholders, operational and commercial teams to execute integrated category strategies through the development and delivery of a sourcing pipeline.
• Ensure scopes of work are properly formed and developed with risks passed down the supply chain as appropriate.
• Lead supplier negotiation of contracts to enable savings and benefits, in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure timely contract execution in adherence to company policies, procedures and Scheme of Delegation.

Key Competencies of a Procurement Manager
• Proven experience in contracts and procurement management specifically within the telecoms or utilities services sector.
• Good level of knowledge and experience of working with standard forms of contracts and professional appointments, process, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrable organisational skills, process-orientated, commercial acumen, contract experience
• Experience with cross-functional collaborative working methods.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant commercial or engineering discipline and/or working towards CIPS or RICS professional accreditation.
