Search Consultancy are delighted to be working with our client based in Inchinnan to recruit for an experienced German Speaking Technical Support Representative to join their established team.

An established privately owned business with over 20 years' experience in the design, manufacture and after-care support of essential supplies for laboratories on every continent around the world.
The company's ethos is to do everything they can to ensure that they're customers receive exceptional service every day.
With over 600 staff globally with UK Headquarters based just outside of Glasgow, and all manufacturing completed within the UK, you will be joining a stable, well-established and highly reputable company.
The role
German Speaking Technical Support Representative
As the German Speaking Technical Support Representative, you will be knowledgeable in the diagnosis of mechanical and/or electrical faults. You will also be responsible for providing a high level of technical support to the large network of the company's customers, distributors and other external departments across the world. The management of the technical support workload will include ensuring that emails and phone calls are prioritised in order of urgency and responded to within previously agreed SLAs.
Other duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Provide technical support along with the service management system
Respond to all incoming technical enquiries via phone and email
Responses will be professional, prompt and in an efficient manner
Prioritise incoming workload in order of urgency
Escalate any issues that take in excess of 24 hours to resolve to the Technical Manager
Monitor field stock consumption and work with the Service Manager to maintain service stock levels
Respond to customer enquiries to service and repair visits by quoting in conjunction with Service Sales representative
Submit warranty part requests to the support team
Ensure cost effective and efficient planning of the monthly workload ensuring that any breakdown visit meets the customer response times SLA
In return for the above, you will receive:
Salary of between GBP25,000 to GBP30,000 dependent on experience
Hybrid working with flexible hours
31 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays)
Option to purchase additional holidays
Additional annual leave entitlement for long service

About you
You will fluent in German and English in both verbal and written communication, with previous experience of working within a Technical Support Representative role specialising in Mechanical/Electrical fault diagnosis. If you have the above and can also speak Spanish, then this would be an additional advantage.
You will also have:
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision
The ability to liaise comfortably with customers of all levels both internally and externally
The ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines
Excellent organisational skills
