Senior Buyer - Labour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Buyer. We would love to hear from you if you have previous experience within a similar role with a background in buying Sub-contractor services, Labour and Professional services.

Role Profile:
Reporting into the Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the creation and implementation of the designated commercial strategies for Labour and related spend. You will
work within the function to support the delivery of a structured sourcing and fulfilment srategy, targeted to delier significant efficiencies and cost savings, demonstrating value.
Typical Deliverables:
You will be supporting RFx activities for both Bid tenders and Projects including creation and issue of NDA's
Support for maintenance of approved supplier list (ASL)
Ensuring category codes are fit for purpose
You will be responsible for creation of iProcurement strategy
Responsible for Supplier on-boarding and evaluation
Support investigations of supplier performance failures and work with SQA team to find resolutions
Support supplier relationship management and develop best-fit business review schedule, in line with supplier classification
Business Operations Skills - Experience:
Must have experience in a procurement or commercial environment
Experience of Microsoft Office 365 products especially MS Excel
Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
Understanding of procurement principles, practices and the value that Procurement can bring
A high attention to detail and ability to achieve high levels of data accuracy
Business Operations Skills - Qualifications:
Degree / HND / HNC or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
Or Professional qualification MCIPS, preferably Chartered status
Depth and breadth of experience may be considered where these qualifications have not been obtained
You'll receive formal training. - and on-the-job training where appropriate - to ensure you're up-skilled as technology develops along with E-learning schemes to help or refresh skills on-line
