IT Technician
IT Technician - Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 per annum
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am till 5:00pm

We have an excellent opportunity for an IT Technician to join our client based in Mansfield on a permanent basis. You will be part of an IT Support team delivering advise and solutions both internally and externally within the company.
Daily duties include:
Provide office/remote-based 1st & 2nd technical support for engineers/staff and customers, remotely or by telephone support in security/IT (including hardware and software)
Assist with LAN maintenance, patches, and upgrades
Application support
Remote user maintenance and application support
Manage the Broadcloud VOIP Telephone System
Maintain computer systems remotely, and report any defects
User management of key systems
General administrative duties
Server Administration Support
Active Directory Management
Asset Management
Firewall Support and Maintenance
Skills and Experience required:
Previous experience of working as IT Support
Must be able to prioritise workload well
Good understanding of networking such as LAN/WAN/WiFi and mobile networks, along with DNS, DHCP and Port Forwarding
Experience with Office 365, Active Directory, Windows Servers, VOIP and Firewalls
Excellent communication skills with staff and customers
Experience with Microsoft based products, including Windows and Office.
Experience with iPhone and Android operating systems
