We are looking for someone to join our busy recruitment team, on a 12-month fixed term basis.

You will bring innovative ideas and new ways of working to help us hit our goal of recruiting bus drivers. You will be people focused and keen to give all our candidates a great first impression. You will work as part of our busy team but use your own initiative to make things happen quickly.

You will be able available to work safely partly from home and partly from our office in Battersea.

What you will be doing

Acting as a point of contact to build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

Maintaining the online Applicant Tracking System (Harbour) for all Bus Driver vacancies

Interviewing potential candidates

Coordinating all recruitment & selection activities

Ensuring that the pre and post offer administrative process for successful candidates is completed

Participating in job fairs and career events

Carrying out all stages of the recruitment life cycle. Monitoring and applying recruiting best practice to ensure excellence in our candidate experience.

Completing and analysing weekly and monthly data for recruitment reports

Issuing contracts and offers of employment to successful applicants

Coordinating the on-boarding process of new employees and the transition of temp-perm employees.

What we are looking for

At least one year of recruitment experience in a high-volume in-house environment.

Experience in end-to-end recruitment operations

A great team player, willing to get involved with a positive, can-do attitude

Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases

Experience in running Assessment Centres

Knowledge of UK Right to Work checks and best practices

Experience in interviewing, candidate screening and evaluation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong decision-making skills

Experience attracting and hiring a high volume of candidates in a fast-moving environment

Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of the team, to remain calm under pressure.

Excellent organisational skills, happy working to meet deadlines and the ability to manage competing priorities

Outstanding organisational skills and flexible approach to your work and quickly respond to the needs of our business
