Your Opportunity
As an experienced HR Advisor, this role will see you report to the HR Manager in a senior HR Advisory role, supporting the wider management team in a range of HR Projects & Interventions that will support the business growth & overall HR Strategy.

Responsibilities,
As the Senior HR Advisor for the business, this role will require you to provide expert knowledge to managers at all levels, as-well as be part of various future planned HR Projects, you will also be providing sound knowledge for any complex HR matters, in particular employment law and good HR practice.

Key aspects of the role include:

To champion the companies values and mission across all levels and contacts both internal and external.

To work with the HR Manager to develop, implement, monitor and continuously improve operational HR processes and procedures.

To work with Managers to advise, influence, support, and challenge decision making.

Coaching and developing line managers to effectively fulfil their people management responsibilities.

Supporting managers with the management of complex short-term and long-term absence.

To assist with change management activities, including TUPE.

Participate in the review, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in accordance with best practice and operational requirements.

Devise and lead on bespoke HR projects aligned with the business objectives.

To ensure that all recruitment and selection, promotion and termination administration procedures are carried out in accordance with policy and legislative requirements.

To assist the recruitment department with recruitment and selection procedures.

To create and deliver training and development of HR related matters to managers.

To develop, identify, grow and maintain talent by embedding a high-performance culture, providing regular feedback and coaching and ensuring strong succession plans are in place.

Undertake ad-hoc project work when required.

About you
Your exceptional people and relationship management skills, and your ability to build trust and influence across a wide range of stakeholders, will you see you thrive in this role. Additionally, you will possess:

CIPD 5 Minimum or degree related qualifications in Human Resources Management or equivalent HR work experience

Minimum of 4 years of generalist HR experience

Strong Employment Law Knowledge

Experience of designing and leading organisational development and/or business change projects, including TUPE

Experience of writing and implementing HR policies and procedures

Experience of managing a high and complex employee relations caseload

Confidence partnering with leaders to both respectfully challenge, coach and support

Able to influence people at all levels of the organisation and secure their buy in and commitment

Sound attention to detail, accuracy and natural problem solver

Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

Passionate about learning with a growth mindset and positive attitude
