Part time roles don t come around often, even less so ones that offer flexibility but here we have a role that does exactly that and is working for a business that plays an integral role in efforts to improve sustainability and reduce consumer impact on the environment. While initially on a 12month FTC, the role is likely to go permanent.

Milton Keynes or Rotherham

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will provide operational support to a few of the businesses across the UK and Scotland and will primarily work from home with 2 days a week a travel to head office or site.

You ll operate in a generalist capacity, supporting on ER and coaching managers to improve capability, performance, and employee engagement. You will be the key interface between the business and the recruitment and L&D functions when it comes to recruitment planning and training coordination and will work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to embed business wide HR initiatives at a local level. The business is undergoing a Workday HR system implementation so you can expect to support the project lead when it comes to migration and testing.

The HR Director expects that the day-to-day HR support and project involvement will likely consume most, but not all, of the HR Partners time so anticipates that there will be the opportunity for the postholder to do some proactive work with the management population and bring new initiatives to the HR strategy.

Who are we looking for?
We re looking for someone with values that fit the organisation, but also that complements the way the HR function operates; compassionate with a pragmatic approach to the deployment of policy and process. You ll likely be an HR generalist operating at Business Partner or experienced HR Advisor level and have worked with a mix of blue and white collar employees, with a lean towards more operational working environments
