We are recruiting for a Specification Sales Manager who will be responsible for the BA, BS, GL, SN, and SP Postcodes (Somerset, Wiltshire, Avon, Gloucestershire and Hampshire,) on behalf of a market leading manufacturer within the electrical sector who have a UK market share of over 85%, an annual turnover of over GBP150M, have consistently grown sales year on year for the last 10+ years and are on track to exceed turnover expectations again this year.
As the Specification Sales Manager you will be:
Responsible for continued sales growth within the BA, BS, GL, SN, & SP postcodes.
Targeting specification of their products on Local Authority, Housing Association and other specifier projects by targeting Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Electrical Contractors, Architects, New Build Developers and the M & E Contractors.
Supporting the Distribution Network (Electrical Wholesalers) as the specification specialist, ensuring their teams understand the product range, their key benefits and are confident in their ability to promote these to their customer base.
Delivering training and CPD presentations to Specifiers, Installers and Customers.
The point of contact for technical advice and support within this area.
Producing reports on progress within your territory and utilising the CRM system to record visit reports etc.,
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to demonstrate:
A proven sales track record within the electrical or similar sector (Lighting, Controls, Heating, Ventilation, Wiring, HIU s, HVAC or be working for an Electrical Wholesaler with external sales experience).
Experience of developing business with a technically biased product in a specification led environment.
Experience of the Social Housing and Local Authority sector.
That you have regularly achieved or exceeded set sales targets.
Strong territory planning skills.
Strong administration skills ideally with experience of Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and CRM systems.
The ability to communicate with customers at all levels with the ability to identify contacts and gain appointments.
On offer is a basic salary of up to GBP52,000 which is negotiable based on experience, a generous bonus scheme based on company results (achievable OTE guide figure is GBP90,000+ with the potential to earn more), a Company Car (Hybrid X1, 3 Series or C Class), Laptop, Tablet, iPhone, Pension Scheme (company will contribute 7% if you contribute a minimum of 3%), Private Healthcare etc.,
