PlusPoint Recruitment are acting as an employment business for our client in Orpington who are looking for a Van Driver / Installers to join their team on a 12 week temp to perm basis.
Shift Pattern
The successful candidate will be required to work 4 days on, 4 days off and 8am to 8pm
Van Driver /Installer Duties include:
Loading the company van to deliver products and make collections
Install, collect and exchange equipment as required
Cleaning a wide range of products returned to the service centre
Accurately record all movements of equipment
Reporting all losses or damage immediately
Providing excellent customer service
Requirements for a Van Driver / Installer:
This role involves lots of manual activity when carrying out required duties, most work is done at floor level so this is a very physical role. Weights can exceed 130kg.
Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points
Due to insurance terms they are unable to accept van drivers with a DR conviction code on their licence or under the age of 21 years.
You will be required to undertake a DBS due to the nature of the clients customers.
This van driver / installer is a temp to perm position. On successful completion a 12 week temporary role the van driver will be offered a permanent position.
