Role Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the stores department, keeping all areas clean tidy and organised.

Receiving all stock into the branch in line with purchase orders.

Allocate stock to customer orders.

Perform perpetual stock takes, reporting discrepancies to the management.

Prepare all deliveries and parcels for couriers/drivers.

To ensure your work is completed in accordance with the required work schedules and be responsible for achieving all set targets.

To support the branch resolving stock issues as and when required.

Liaise with suppliers regarding any shipping discrepancies.

Deliver goods and associated items as part of this role .

Personal Attributes

Previous experience in a Stores / Goods in environment would be advantageous.

Honest, trustworthy and reliable with excellent organisational skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external contacts.

Computer literate with Microsoft Office software experience.

Have a particular eye for detail.

Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player who can work on own initiative with a can-do attitude with effective time management.

Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.

A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.

Experience of operating a Forklift Truck would be advantageous.

Hold a full clean driving licence.

FLT Licence (preferred)
