The Role - Senior Procurement Officer

Are you an experienced in overseeing complex supply chains and looking for a new challenge? This is a chance to work with Pinnacle Groups Procurement Team, reporting to the Group Procurement Manager in developing innovative, efficient and sustainable supply chain solutions. The role is flexible, offers hybrid working and will be based in Chelmsford or working from home. We re looking for an experienced professional who will make a difference. Duties/Key Responsibilities

•Working with the Group Procurement Manager to develop and deliver a corporate procurement strategy and procurement policy

•Oversee all RFPs, RFIs and RFQs made by our internal customers

•Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions

•Acting as a business partner across multiple business areas to determine the best vendors and distributors and deliver guidance and advice

•Identify and propose areas of improvement across all areas of supplier lifecycle management with a strong focus on improved value

•Conduct appropriate supplier due diligence to identify supply chain risk and provide support and guidance to stakeholders on appropriate supplier evaluation and risk mitigation methods

•Reporting on all projects and business as usual KPIs

•Taking a proactive approach to continuous improvement in all areas of supplier lifecycle management

Skills Required

•Experience of overseeing large and complex supply chains

•Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering procurement change management programmes

•Effective stakeholder engagement experience

•A passion for driving sustainability through a progressive approach to supplier development

•Experience of developing robust risk mitigation plans within the supply chain

•A strong commitment to Responsible Procurement

•A knowledge of running sourcing events

•CIPS Level 4 or above
