About the role:
As an Assistant Buyer, you will support the Senior Buyer and Buyer of the category in range selection, assortment planning and supplier sourcing through managing the product assortment and suppliers. You will represent your category and the company by maintaining positive relationships with them whilst negotiating terms and pricing.
The role is based in Avonmouth and offered with hybrid working.
About you:
Previous experience in a Buying Assistant role in a retail environment is essential
Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail is crucial
Presentation skills is an advantage
Adaptable attitude towards change, opportunities and project management as designated from time to time
Excellent PC skills that include Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
Structured planning, organisation and time management skills
A team player who relishes the opportunity of working within an entrepreneurial environment and delivering results against challenging targets
Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
