Telent are looking for an Acquisition Surveyor to join the Network Services team due to growth of the team and new projects! Working on high profile projects across the UK, this will predominantly be a Remote role, focusing on site acquisition surveying within the Mobile and Telecommunications industry.
Acquisition Surveyor - Role Profile:
As an Acquisition Surveyor, you will play an important role in helping "Mobile" Phone Operator clients to improve connectivity and performance of their networks to meet the growing demands of their customers.
You will be overseeing the project delivery teams that are focused on finding new sites, upgrading existing sites and providing associated estates advice on acquisition to improve connectivity.
Acquisition Surveyor - Typical Deliverables:
The key deliverables and responsibilities as part of the Acquisition Surveyor role are as follows:
Site Search
Land ownership checks
ECC valuations
Attend client reviews & manage client reporting tools
Organise surveys, attend site meetings, liaise with colleagues, clients, and agents
Review of technical drawings
Securing consents
Negotiation of agreements
Manage a portfolio of telecom sites with acquisition & planning deliverables
Review legal documents and undertake land & property negotiations
Prepare town planning pre-application strategies & consultations
Prepare & submit planning applications to local planning authorities
Agreement renewalsAcquisition Surveyor - Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this role include:
Compile & manage programs of works and workloads
Support training of graduates/junior members of the Acquisition teams
Ensuring accurate site by site records and commentary
Delivery of client milestone KPI's
Provide team/project wide support
Support Business Development (BD) activity
Help build client relationshipsBusiness Operations Skills - Qualifications and Experience:
Business experience and transferable skills of Surveying / Acquisition Surveying
Telecoms / Property / Mobile industry experience
Property / Engineering / Surveying qualifications (desirable)
Good IT skills
Good interpersonal skills
An understanding of Town Planning & Highways procedures (desirable)
Ability to work within a team and with contractors
Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
Full driving licence
