Working hours 09:00 - 17:15
Our client based closed to Jct6 of the M5 are looking to recruit a credit controller to join their accounts team.
Job responsibilities:
Using a diarised credit control suite, you will be ensuring some 400 live monthly accounts pay to credit terms. Together with the credit control team Debtor day's targets must also to be met.
Telephone chasing overdue debt for between 200 to 300 live accounts.
Ensuring as a team that debtor days for the group of companies remain within the correct SLA
Creating new Customers including a credit worthiness check.
'Lock downs' reviewing Customers who haven't traded with us for 6 months for credit worthiness.
Cash posting to Sage 1000 ERP and Sage 50c.
Housekeeping across all ledgers at the request of the Credit control Manager.
Ad hoc duties as they present themselves.
Personal Qualities:
Ability to take responsibility and meet the targeted Cash collection targets with the team.
Sage experience preferred but not essential.
Must be a team player.
Willingness to learn new accounting packages, efficiently.
