A Key supplier of Vitamin and Mineral premixes into the Food Industry is seeking a Customer Sampler for their site in Kent. This role will be Monday to Friday from 2pm until 10pm. Must be hard working, reliable and trustworthy and to work as part of their Production Team creating/tracking samples, speaking to different departments across the business and general Admin duties. The successful candidate will be trained on the job to pick up skills needed to perform in a fast paced, Quality and Safety driven environment. The main duties will be:
Produce customer samples to correct specification and deadlines
Create samples to agreed timelines and accuracy
Communicate with different departments across the business
Perform and document all operational work e.g. labelling and distribution
Understanding customer requests to provide great service
Adhere to PPE and cross contamination in the factory
Follow relevant SOP s within production area and warehouse
Understanding of stock and rotation of all raw materials
Track samples to ensure they reach the desired location
Packing of hazardous materials
Complete labelling, paperwork and the samples tracker
Requirements:
Previous experience in similar role is essential
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work in a very fast paced environment
A confident, forward thinking team player
Hands on and adaptable with a positive attitude
Excellent organisation, flexibility and problem-solving
Excellent level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Manufacturing to detail
