About the Role

A 3-month temp to perm opportunity for a Tuition Service Administrator has arisen with the local authority, Bracknell Forest Council.

Job Purpose

This role has no line management or budget management responsibilities. The post holder will report to the lead tutor and tuition manager.

The post-holder will have considerable contact with internal and external stakeholders. This may include but is not limited to: Educational Psychology Team, SEND Team members, Parents/Carers; Schools; and other professionals including Health and Social Care.

Job Responsibilities:

To support the effective and efficient delivery of the Education Tuition Service for Children and Young People of statutory school age who are unable to attend school due to their medical needs
To provide support to the Tuition Service Manager and Lead Tutor
To be the first point of contact for Parents, Carers, Tutors and referring Professionals
To work in partnership with the Tuition Business Support Officer.Job Requirements:

Educated to a minimum GCSE standard, including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
Understanding of and commitment to the requirements of safeguarding children, young people, vulnerable adults and promoting their welfare
The ability to converse easily and professionally with members of the public and respond effectively to questions
A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.The working hours are Monday to Fridays between 9:00am and 5:30pm, 37 hours per week.
