Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking an IQA Consultant based in Bedford for a rapidly growing Education & Training company.
Summary of the IQA Consultant role
Salary: GBP28,000 - GBP35,000
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
The role
As the IQA Consultant your role will involve the following important duties:
Determine whether assessment processes and systems meet and operate according to quality requirements.
Agree and prioritise assessor learning needs and produce individual development plans with assessors to reflect these.
To track Learner progress and check that assessments are planned, prepared for and carried out according to agreed procedures.
Work with assessors, trainers, employers, and Learners to ensure the standardisation of assessment practice and outcomes.
Liaise with the Examinations and Accreditation department regarding the arrangement and secure storage of all Learner portfolios until sampled by the awarding body.
Assess the extent to which own practice is inclusive and promotes equality and diversity.
The experience required
As a successful IQA Consultant, you will have the following:
Significant experience in assessment and verification and using marking, assessment conventions and tracking systems.
Professional qualifications within a relevant field to at least a Level 3.
Internal Quality Assurance qualification and an Assessor Award.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills with the ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
Strong IT skills.
Good knowledge and understanding of good practice in National Occupational Standards.
Knowledge and experience within either the Construction or Leadership and Management Sector.
