We have a fantastic opportunity for an Office Assistant to join our client based in Watford.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Office working background with an excellent telephone manner.

Duties

Answer Telephone and direct calls

Sales Order Input into Pegasus OPERA 3 (POP system), raising Picking Notes, special price lists, delivery notes, etc

Invoicing using POP system both electronically and by mail

ABN-AMRO (our factoring company) Schedules - forwarding of invoices etc

Checking customer internet portals and printing orders

Checking supplier Order Confirmations

Daily posting of Mail, Samples and Catalogues

Filing and Archiving

Posting daily Cash lists and updating credit insurance limits

Controlling sample/spares stock internally

Maintain Stationery Requirements

Monitoring and ordering postage stamps

Monitoring Kitchen Requirements

General computer data input/mailing lists

Advising any warnings regarding stock levels, and maintaining records of products with serial number

General office duties and assistance as required.

This is an office-based role in Watford and it is required that the successful candidate will be able to drive to the location.

Hours: 10:00 am - 2:00pm (flexibility required when necessary to cover holidays etc)

Salary: GBP10 - GBP12 per hour
