Systems Engineer - Aerospace & Defence

As part of our on-going support to our client based in Bristol with us delivering a System Engineering service to one of the UK's leading Aerospace & Defence companies we are seeking Senior Systems Engineers to join our team

Experience within the Aerospace and Defence Sector is required

Due to the nature of the project we are able to offer both permanent or contract positions. The salary/rate will be negotiable based on experience and skill level.

As this work is in the Defence industry a full valid Security Clearance is a prerequisite for this work, as is being a UK national (dual nationalities are not able to apply for this role due to restrictions on the contract placed by the MoD). Electronic Warfare experience is required

Our staff will work across the full systems engineering lifecycle with our client, so we would expect our staff to be working on a combination of:

Elicitation of System Level Requirements from customer requirements

Producing a Test strategy for testing the System Functionality

Performing System Requirements Validation

Performing System Verification and Integration

Implementing the Problem Report Lifecycle - (investigate, resolve, close)

System Engineering Technical Application

Business and Mission Analysis
Requirements Engineering and Management
System Concept Analysis and Development
System Architecture Modelling and Analysis
System Analysis
System Validation and Verification
Integration and Implementation

Experience using Doors / UML / Rhapsody

Experience of full system development lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Implementation, Verification, Validation, Integration)

Able to work on a customer site and represent Expleo
