We are looking for a Dispatch Assistant Administrator to join a busy Dispatch team in a large manufacturing company based in Stourport
The role is based within a busy dispatch environment, this role is fast paced and varied.
You will be invoicing and arranging timely dispatch of goods to our customers. Working closely with the Administrator and the Supervisor, you will ensure the efficient dispatch of goods in a timely manner and provide all of the associated administrative support for the smooth operation of the department. You may be required to assist with packing and dispatch during busy periods.
Main duties to include
Liaising with customers for specific delivery requirements
Obtaining quotes and booking transport
Booking courier services
Checking parts
Packing small parcels
Dispatching using Sage 200
Creating Commercial Invoices using Sage 200
Greeting drivers and ensuring correct paperwork is signed
Advising customers once a job has been dispatched
General data input (geared motor sheets, packing lists etc)
Chasing jobs to ensure dispatch on the correct date
Taking telephone calls and responding to emails
Other adhoc admin duties
The right candidate would:
Hold relevant experience within a factory setting
Strong admin skills
IT skills - Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word
Sage 200 experience advantageous
Highly organised with an eye for detail
A good energy and enthusiasm
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, Friday 7am to 1pm
Salary: GBP20,000 to GBP21,000
