Position Overview:
To provide Technical expertise, configuration, testing services and assist with Tier two issue resolution. To help and provide business direction in regards to WMS (Tecsys and Sap EWM) and TMS requirements. Assisting to align global applications and processes and implement third party solutions for business requirements in regard to Supply chain

Job Description:

To provide frontline application support, configuration, analysis and testing services.

Job Responsibilities:

Support
Respond to logged and escalated incidents including the acceptance and investigation through to work around or resolution, always keeping the customer informed of progress.
Respond to requests to provide both functional and process support guidance in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct root cause analysis on identified problems and investigate potential permanent fixes
Ensure knowledge is current and relevant through collaboration with Business Analysts
Provide input to knowledge base documentation based on support call trends and issues
Make recommendations for best practice changes
Coordinate and track enhancement recommendations to Business Analysts
Implement fixes for known problems, fully supporting the change management process.Projects
Implement and contribute to third party systems updates and provide 'on-going' support to meet business requirements
Assist with evaluations of new software / systems to ensure they function effectively for the business needs
Help assign tasks to contractors, and instruct and supervise them to ensure company standards are maintained within a set project budget
Contact point for immediate systems issues and problems.
Conduct ongoing operational tasks as required to maintain systems capabilities.
Process user administration requests to meet user and audit requirements
Perform configuration and testing activities as required
Development of reports, queries, data analysis and scripts to meet business needs.
Provide feedback to external auditors as required.Skills and Attributes:

Basic understanding of business practices associated with applications supported
Minimum of two years business application systems or ERP experience
Some working knowledge of SQL having the ability to query and interrogate databases
Experience of service desk software and incident management
Experience of implementing third party systems softwareEducation and Experience:
Ideally qualified to ITIL foundation level or at least an understanding of ITIL fundamentals. (Service now)
Working knowledge of IBM iSeries operating system and commands
Microsoft Office toolset skills
WMS(Teksys and/or EWM) experience desirable
SAP experience desirable
SQL experience desirable
Understanding of web based API workings desirable. Eg SOAP and REST
Any coding experience desirable.Accountability:

Ensure incidents are accepted, assigned and resolved in a timely manner to meet the requirements of customers and the wider business. Ensure knowledge is current and relevant through collaboration with key stake-holders within the business. Accountable for consistent on time delivery, the production of high quality materials and adhering to processes to maximise business value. Ensure projects are completed against agreed time estimates. Achievement of agreed annual objectives, as defined with the supervisor. Ensure positive feedback from Business Stakeholders, Support Lead and D&IT Leadership team, and positive user feedback on support capabilities.
