Bricklayer / General Builder
Trade Recruit have an exciting opportunity for an experience Bricklayer/General Builder. This a permanent role offering an excellent work-life balance in the Bedford area.
Our client is an established family run business within Building trade with over 25 year's specialising in a wide variety of construction projects in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. Our work includes new builds, extensions, bricklaying and groundwork, carpentry, hard landscaping and driveways.
The successful General Builder needs to be experienced in all aspects of bricklaying and groundwork. Must be able understand and read technical drawings, set out and cover fittings. This is a fantastic position for someone who would like to progress themselves and the company forward.
The suitable candidate would be reliable, hard-working and hold great communication skills. An advantage would be a strong team player who possesses the ability work well with others and under their own initiative.
The ideal candidate will have:
Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience within the industry.
Must be able to drive a digger
Must own Basic Tools
Competent in all types Bricklaying and Groundwork (Stonework would be an advantage but not essential)
Team player, Organise members of the team
Reliable, hard working, dedicated and loyal
Full Driving licence which is preferably clean without points
