Christ s College is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the post of Deputy Head Gardener.
Deputy Head Gardener
Location: St Andrew s Street, Cambridge, CB2 3BU
Salary: GBP24,871 - GBP26,341 per annum (Spine Points 31-33 on the University s single pay spine)
Vacancy type: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Responsible to the Head Gardener, this post will deputise for them in their absence and will oversee, and work with, a friendly team of gardeners in maintaining the gardens and grounds at the College to the highest of standards. Comprising fine borders, lawns, trees and shrubs the gardens at the College are used for a host of activities including garden parties and outdoor functions and provide quiet spaces for rest and relaxation for the College community as a whole.
The benefits on offer are many and include 36 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) pro rata, pension scheme, free meals on duty, a cycle to work scheme, and the opportunity to work in a beautiful environment. Facilities on-site include a College gym and a multi-faith prayer room.
