Our Luxury Brand client, are currently recruiting for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to assist with the continued growth of this department. The successfully candidate would be working a 40 hour week, ideally 9am to 5.30pm but some flexibility exists. If successful you would be:
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and the B2B department to ensure all orders are dispatched in line with requirements and within the given time frame
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, the Events team and shop team to ensure all stock is sent and received back within the standards required by the company and within the given time frame
Assisting with the management of the Warehouse team to ensure the Warehouse meets the requirements of the business, including overseeing the productivity, performance, training and personal development of each individual
Assisting the Warehouse Manager to ensure the correct amount and quality of dispatch materials are available for the planned business activities, including timely ordering, storage and rotation
Keeping the Warehouse pristinely clean, tidy, organised and clear of any excess debris or misplaced stock to not only meet H&S standards, but also the expected operating standards of a luxury brand for the benefit of staff and brand image for customers and suppliers visiting HQ
Working with the Warehouse Manager to continually seek ways of improving warehouse operations as the business demands evolve and change, including actively working Heads of Department internally to overcome inefficiencies and learning about warehousing and distribution externally to bring new initiatives to the business
Dealing with escalated issues in the absence of the warehouse manager
