We are recruiting exclusively for an Accountant for a recognised Loughborough employer. This is a newly created role where you will be managing a team of 2 and reporting to the Head of Finance. In this role, you will be preparing the management accounts as a team and suitable candidates will either be QBE or part-qualified. Our client will pay up to GBP36,000 + Study support if required and Free Parking
Accountant Duties:
Working in a team to prepare the monthly management accounts and monthly reporting
Ensuring that year-end accounts are prepared to an agreed timetable in a form suitable for audit.
Liaising with auditors and answering their questions in a timely and accurate fashion.
Ensuring control of all bank accounts including currency transactions
Balance sheet accounts are reconciled
Preparation of the fixed asset register
Accruals & Prepayments
VAT returns
You will manage a team of 2
Candidate requirements:
Management accounts experience is essential
Excellent accuracy skills and attention to detail
Enjoy managing a small team
Salary GBP34,000 - GBP36,000 + Benefits + (Study package. However there is no requirement study but is available if requested)
Working Hours 09.00am - 5.00pm. or 08.00 - 4.00pm. Flexible hours are available
20 days Holidays + Stats + Free Parking
