Bennett and Game are currently working with the UK's leading logistics companies specialising within aerospace and pharmaceutical industries who are actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Chiswick offices
The client manages some of the world's biggest retailers and pride themselves in providing value added services that include inventory management, re-packing, labelling and order preparation.
Project Manager Position Overview
You will be directly responsible for ensuring that contractual commitments agreed with clients are satisfied alongside managing the risks associated with the project.
Operations Management
You will be required to both define and implement the logistics operational structure, ensure it is optimized and has its effectiveness controlled.
Supervise and ensure the timely transport of materials
Implementing and the control of IS - IT systems
Reporting
Consistently maintaining records and company stats
Supervision both weekly and monthly on KPI's pm HSE and ops stats
Q-HSE
Ensure compliance with BLX Q-HSE of logistics activities and contractors
Provide support where necessary
Crisis management if requested
Cost Control / Purchase Contract Management
Negotiation and control
Define and prepare annual budget
Make technical recommendations for service agreements
Management
Manage and train all staff to ensure efficient and safe service
Responsible for HSE
Responsible for PNL
Responsible for Operations
Responsible for Contracts
Project Manager Position Requirements
Professional experience within freight forwarding positions
Experience and knowledge in Oil and Gas EPC industry or Capital Projects
Strong decision maker
Adaptable
Project Manager Position Remuneration
Salary - GBP45K - GBP55K DOE
Circa office hours
Monday to Friday
