We are recruiting for committed charity who dedicated their skills, knowledge, and compassion to provide support and a safe environment for those who are homeless in the County.

This is a challenging but rewarding position and no 2 days are ever the same.

As a Support and Engagement officer you will need to demonstrate that you can motivate, support, and encourage clients on their journey to independent living. This being finding training or employment services, find social and leisure activities, perform daily safety and wellness checks.

Helping clients to understand tenancy / licence agreement. Assisting with benefit applications and queries and any other correspondence.

You will be required to support the Housing Manager with a variety of duties to include the re-letting of flats, identify maintenance issues and assist with the turnaround of flats and to ensure all sites and offices are always kept clean and tidy.

If you have the knowledge of housing provision and the benefits system for young people and adults, then this permanent position is just for you.

As expected, this service never stops, hours will be 40 hours 5 days out of 7 with 1 weekend in 4 to work. The requirement for on call duties will also be required on a rota basis.
