Do you have what it takes to be an HGV/LGV Driver?
Our HGV/LGV Drivers play a vital part in the handling, collection, and delivery of (predominantly accident damaged) cars, vans, LGVs, and other vehicles on behalf of insurance and automotive customers to industry leading service levels. The significant majority of these movements are undertaken through a fleet of wholly owned designed salvage transporters and employed drivers, supplemented by a network of sub haul operators.

Our HGV/LGV Drivers are responsible for carrying out physical checks on their trucks and equipment and reporting any defects to their managers, carrying out inspections of all collected and delivered vehicles and photographing any damage.
They will also create an inventory of any personal effects left in collected or delivered vehicles. They must comply with the legal and company requirements of a professional driver and operate the vehicle and loading equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all H&S policies and procedures.
We welcome applications for this HGV/LGV Driver role from candidates with experience in the following areas: LGV Driver, Class 1 & 2, C&E Licence, Large/Heavy Goods Vehicles, Recovery Driving, HGV Driver, CPC, Customer Service.
Essential Skills
HGV/LGV Licence Class 1 or Class 2
A good understanding of the EU 'drivers' hours' and 'working time' rules
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent customer service skills
Proficient in basic IT skills and the use of a handheld device
Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantageWhat we offer you in return
