About The SSPCA:
Working closely with colleagues across the Society you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy designed to engage new, and retain existing supporters with a range of individual giving products. As the Scottish SPCA launches an ambitious 10-year vision including an ambition to increase income by GBP3 million annually by 2032 this role plays a critical function in driving income and instilling increased loyalty from communities across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
• With support from the Head of Fundraising develop, implement and manage the Individual Giving, Campaigns and Retail Strategy and the associated budgets ensuring that all KPIs are met.
• Contribute to, and share expertise, to shape the wider fundraising strategy and contribute to organisational strategy where appropriate.
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements and account manage suppliers/agencies ensuring fundraising activity is compliant, efficient and cost-effective
Individual Giving
• Manage the Scottish SPCA s individual giving programmes and activities including cash appeals, regular giving and lottery programmes.
• Develop, implement, monitor and analyse multi-channel acquisition campaigns including mass-market DM, DRTV and telephony
• Using a creative agency approach work with MarComms colleagues to deliver creative and copy for all individual campaigns and stewardship touchpoints.
• Working closely with the Supporter Experience Manager develop and define retention plans which will maximise retention, consent capture, upgrade and reactivation rates across your income streams.
• Explore, test and develop new income streams such as junior giving, and multi-channel approaches to increase fundraising, donations and supporter engagement.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell Individual Giving campaigns across all existing audiences. • Identify, and work with colleagues to develop opportunities for philanthropists and major donors with the long-term aim of developing philanthropy at the Scottish SPCA.
• Ensure Individual Giving content is up to date on the Scottish SPCA s channels including print, social media and on our website
