EVENING CARETAKER

We are looking for an Evening Caretaker to join our well-supported and effective Site Services team. The working hours are 2p.m – 9p.m Monday to Friday on a permanent 52 week contract. Pay would be £10.20 per hour, up to 33 hours per week with an additional £256 per annum first aid allowance.

The work is varied and involves securing the school site, undertaking routine security checks, locking and unlocking of buildings at pre-determined times, and taking remedial action if required. Ideally you will be able to undertake out-of-hours minor repairs, effect a short-term solution if required or arrange emergency repairs. Training will be provided for first aid, maintenance of pool, sports, theatrical equipment as well as operating heating and security systems.

Previous experience working in a school setting would be advantage, but is not essential.
