Supply Chain Manager

ASAP start date.
6 months.
Hybrid working - 2 days in Farringdon (London) 3 from home.
GBP350 pd PAYE.Content and Scope.

The purpose of this role is to manage the end to end supply chain for the client, covering demand aggregation, customer order fulfilment, inventory management and product availability.
The effectiveness of this role will be built on a drive to deliver results and be responsible for ensuring that the operational activities and processes are aligned to meet current and future business needs and supporting the overriding ambition.
This role requires leadership, influencing and relationship building skills complemented by a hands on approach to operational activities.
It will involve engaging and partnering with multiple stakeholders, Internally (sales, marketing, finance, EMEA Technical Teams,) and Externally (3PL provider, logistics providers, co-packers)Key responsibilities.

Define and deliver the clients Supply Chain strategy
Set, align, monitor and manage the clients Supply Chain objectives, priorities and key performance indicators.
Streamline supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and ensure appropriate standards are implemented.
Lead optimisation and initiatives to support the business strategy, create customer value, drive operational excellence and meet service level targets.
Line management of the clients supply chain team covering customer service/order fulfilment and product availability/inventory management, ensuring holiday cover. Currently 2 Direct reports.
Member of the clients Leadership Team, representing Supply Chain.
Own and facilitate the clients S&OP+ Step 3 meeting
Key member of the clients S&OP+ Step 2 meeting, providing data analysis of cycle on cycle demand changes and capturing the commentary and agreed actions
Connecting and working with the clients EMEA Technical Teams as appropriate (functions: Planning & Logistics, Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, External Manufacturing and Procurement)
Manage the UK Demand/Supply planning system Anaplan, ensuring appropriately configured and maintained (working in conjunction with EMEA Technical Planning)
Key contact with the clients NA team, as providers of the clients UK ERP system (JDE) to ensure appropriate for use and trouble shooting.
Manage external partners to deliver the operational activities for the client, including 3PL, co-packers, logistics providers , including identify, tendering, contracting 3rd party business arrangements and operations.
Work closely with the EMEA Planning team to ensure high level of product availability.
Work closely with the UK Sales and Marketing teams to ensure there is a robust demand planning process and suitable inputs/outputs from KIND UK Step 2 S&OP+ step meeting.Education & Professional Qualifications

Educated to a degree level or equivalent
Supply chain/operations experience, ideally in a similar role with end to end experience
Preference for prior UK market experience
Fluent in EnglishKnowledge / Experience

Planning and ERP systems
Analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to thrive in a small business environment and tenacity to overcome hurdles
Strong line management experience
