What you'll be doing

As a/an MEP Revit technician you will have the following accountabilities:

To work with the Digital Project Delivery Coordinator and team of CAD Technicians and Coordinators to provide an updated as fitted project BIM MEP model and drawings to an agreed project budget and delivery programme. The task is generally, but not limited to:

Update the drawings annotation (As Built references, revisions, statuses) and issue drawings.

Incorporation of sub-contractor red line drawings plus the scope gap items.

For incorporating redline mark-ups which require services remodelling and coordination.

Add the asset information.

Validation of red line drawings

Ensure COBie information is populated in all maintainable assets as listed in MPDP

Use of Open Space system for model review, update and validation

As built validation surveys (Point Clouds)

Update Equipment reference numbers

Model all ceiling mounted MEP items

Model all valves which require maintenance (currently missing from models)

To constantly review and liaise with the team leader regarding workload and delivery of drawings in accordance with required goals, standards and timescales.

Ability to work in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks

Ensuring appropriate project BIM standards and procedures are implemented in accordance with PAS/ISO standards, project standards and best practice

Establishing and setting up of new project models in accordance with project standards

Modelling and co-ordination of MEP services i.e. ductwork, pipework, cable tray etc. using AutoCAD & Revit MEP.

Coordinating services using REVIT and Navisworks

Generate as built drawings from site survey/marked up installation drawings.

Ability to work with Point Cloud Survey data

Liaise with engineers and BIM team to resolve problems, technical queries of on-going site installation.

Supporting the BIM team in providing REVIT training

Ability to work with COBie Asset data (using Autodesk BIM Interoperability tool)

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

NC or equivalent in Civils, mechanical, construction or electrical

HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Construction/Civils/Mechanical/Electrical
Can demonstrate some technical ability with the use of DIGITAL Software applications

Proactively working towards Technician Membership or Professional

Ability to form effective relationships with the project team, supply chain partners and clients under time pressure

Valid CSCS Card
