Our client is a highly successful, market leading, specialist beverage supplier in Chesterfield, they supply impressive premium retailers including Harrods!
Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician paying GBP11.50 an hour which equates to GBP21,229 per annum working 35.5 hours a week.
Working hours are 9.00am- 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 3pm on a Friday. (Applicants must also be able to work additional hours in the event of an external audit which tend to occur 6 or 7 days a year.)
The Quality Assurance Technician role will include: maintaining quality documentation, attending third party audits, performing weekly internal audits, carrying out weekly reviews with senior management, ensuring all quality paperwork is completely accurately, completing QA and technical questionnaires on behalf of customers, and office support when required including answering the phone to customers.
The successful Quality Assurance Technician will have the following skills and experience:
Food Safety - Required level 3, Best level 4.
HACCP - Required level 3, Best level 4
BRC knowledge / experience (BRC / SALSA / 3rd Party Audit Standards)
Previous experience of food manufacturing environments advantageous.
Attention to detail essential.
Previous Auditing experience.
