Water Leakage Technician
We are currently recruiting for a major UK utilities business that requires 3x Water Leakage Technicians for a contract with South West Water on sites between Dorset and Cornwall. To fill these roles, we require enthusiastic employees who want to work in an environment that is both technical and performance focused.
We are looking for candidates that can demonstrate their experience of working in leakage detection for a minimum of 2 years to a demonstrable high standard. You will require excellent communication and customer service skills.
You will need to provide a CV that shows, as a minimum, the following:
Excellent operational leakage experience, including step testing
2 Years experience working as a Skilled Leakage Technician
Proven Customer Service skills
Can Do attitude and work in a safe and responsible manner
Strong IT Skills
Ability to mentor other technicians
Full and valid UK driving licence
This role is physical in nature and involves driving a company vehicle, bending, stretching, and lifting. The main programme of works is due to commence in July and, initially, run through to March 2023. However, the better the team performs the greater chance of it becoming a permanent contract.
Ideally you will hold valid DOMS or Water Hygiene accreditation but this isn t a deal breaker.
