Area Sales Manager - Wall Panels
Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Wall Panels

Area to be covered: Yorkshire & North East (based Yorkshire)
Remuneration: GBP35,000-GBP40,000 + commission giving OTE GBP60,000 +

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Wall Panels will involve:
Field sales position selling a high quality range of manufactured wall panelling systems used for kitchen, bathroom and wet rooms
40% of your time will be spent selling via retailers, distributors, builders merchants both national and independents such as Jewson and Travis Perkins
The remaining 60% will be spilt 50/50 selling via local councils, leisure centres & main / sub-contractors
Average order value can range anything between GBP500-GBP50k depending on project size
Targeted to achieve GBP1m first year
Majority of your time will be spent managing existing accounts and the remaining portion developing new business relationships
Taking over a successful patch currently achieving target and looking to grow
Working closely with other members of the internal and external sales team to achieve team bonuses
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Wall Panels with:
Must have construction field sales experience selling via distributors, national merchants, independent merchants, builder merchants, buying groups, retailers
Must be selling a KBB / interior building product such as: bathroom wall panels, floor & wall panels, sanitaryware, kitchen wall panels, bathroom products, tiles, carpets, doors, interior finishes, paint (not essential, any building product will be considered)
Ideally have sold to main contractors and sub-contractors (not essential)
Must be able to fit into a close-knit group
Able to problem solve and offer solutions
Hungry, approachable and strong planning skills
