OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR REQUIRED FOR WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING OPERATION
TITLE: Operations Supervisor - Waste and recycling
SALARY: GBP35,000 plus pension
LOCATION: Cardiff
CLIENT: My client is a leading waste management company looking for hands on and driven Operations Supervisor.
Previous roles: Recycling Site Supervisor, Green waste, Scrap Metal Depot Supervisor, RDF Production Supervisor, Waste Management Operations Supervisor, MRF Supervisor, MBT Plant Supervisor, SRF Production Supervisor, Supervisor and production
Previous experience may have been in: ("RDF" or "SRF" or compost or recycling or heavy industry or Compost, Green Waste, Food Waste)
ROLE: Operations Supervisor - Waste and recycling
You will ensure that production targets and other KPI s inc. safety are met
You will be responsible for working within budgets and maintaining cost control
You will effectively plan available resources to ensure smooth operation
You will ensure that the site is compliant and be involved in the maintenance of accredited ISO s
EXPERIENCE: Operations Supervisor - Waste and recycling
You will ideally be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified or have a COTC in waste management (WAMITAB)
You will have demonstrable experience managing or supervising a team
You will demonstrate the ability to make a difference in a production environment
Previous experience may have been in: MRF, MBT, SRF, RDF, EfW, ERF, Production, Manufacturing, In vessel composting, Open windrow, Hazardous Waste, Compost, Green Waste, Food Waste and production or other heavy industry.
