2nd Line Support Analyst (IT Monitoring)

Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading international IT Services client for a 2nd Line Support Analyst (IT Monitoring) to join a small team providing technical support for the IT Monitoring platform. The successful candidate will also be involved with supporting internal teams and the Vendor in identifying, documenting and implementing enhancements to the system.

This position would suit an enthusiastic IT Analyst with experience providing 2nd line infrastructure/application support and an awareness of IT Systems Management / Monitoring tools/software. Full platform training will be provided, so this is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to quickly develop skills and experience in this area, in a highly supportive and progressive environment.

Flexible/remote working is also available, with WFH (Working from Home) opportunities on a hybrid basis.

2nd Line Support Analyst (IT Monitoring) - Responsibilities

2nd Line Support and maintenance of the IT Monitoring Platform.
Incident/Changes
Proactive changes to ensure system availability
Upgrades / releases in line with vendor roadmap
Produce documentation to support technical operations
Identify, document and implement new technical features to enhance systems.
Provide support to internal teams and customers
Raise system changes for technical activities to be performed under the change management process

2nd Line Support Analyst (IT Monitoring) - Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar 2nd Line infrastructure/application support position
Broad understanding of IT Infrastructure
Some experience of System Management / Monitoring tools/software
ITIL knowledge
Analytical approach to resolving complex problems and assignments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong documentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Keen to undertake training and development to advance skills and experience in this area.
