Network Engineer
3-6 Months
GBP525 a day Inside IR35
First 2-3 weeks on-site in Ashford, Kent then remote with office visits 1-3 times a month
Key responsibilities will be:
Support designs workshops and work to develop the low level Hub build design.
Coordinating and taking ownership of the Physical Hubs buildout
Work with server and application teams to submit and track firewall service requests
Arista Switching: Hardware for physical secure LAN connectivity, and DMZ connectivity within the Hub
Palo Alto Firewalls: PA-3320 Hardware for main hub firewalling and PA-820 for remote Out of Band (OoB) management access
Cisco Firepower Firewalls: Cisco FPR2110 for remote access VPN concentrators
Cisco Wireless Controllers: Cisco 9800 Wireless LAN controllers for central/regional management of the Cisco wireless network, and deployed in a High Availability (HA) configuration
Cisco ISE: Wireless network end point protection and guest splash page portal
Cisco Meraki MX: VPN Concentrator for terminating the Meraki access point VPN into the Hub Network (Meraki is preferred wireless hardware and migration plan to move all wireless to Meraki in the future)
Cisco Routers: Cisco 8300 routers for SD-WAN Head End terminating SD-WAN connections from remote sites
