Bench Joiner urgently required - Immediate start in Runcorn
Location: Runcorn
Salary/Hourly pay rate: GBP13.00 to GBP15.00 per hour depending on experience
Hours of work: 7am till 3.30pm - Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week - overtime available at time and a half
This role is temporary/ongoing but can go permanent for the right person.
You will join a leading manufacturing company in Runcorn who specialize in creative and innovative manufacture of high end reception desks, furniture and bespoke joinery for commercial and public spaces. You will be involved in the daily operations in the production department. You will enjoy excellent career prospects, personal development, flexible working solutions and excellent employee benefits. Duties:
You will be helping to create various furniture products.
Using power tools and hand tools - provided on site.
You will work with as part of a friendly team.
Operational duties as required related to your role.
Training and experience required:
City & Guilds in Bench Carpentry, Site Carpentry, Woodworking or Shop fitting.
Time served Joiners.
Ability to work from production drawings.
Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Good time management and reliable with the ability to work to instruction and deadline.
Experience with Solid Surface (Corian, HiMacs, Avonite, Durasein, Staron, Krion etc.) would be desirable but not essential.
