We are hiring Senior Mechanical Engineer for our client, a leading manufacturing company for rail industry based in Croydon, London.
In the Senior Mechanical Engineer role you will be primarily responsible to provide an additional input to engineering team with regards to technical knowledge, experience and assurance.
Specifically you'll be tasked to review outputs and tasks from the engineering team prior to approval by the Head of Engineering so that our 4 eye' process is robust for all tasks and outputs.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a permanent position based in Croydon.

To be considered for the Senior Mechanical Engineer role, you will need to possess 10 years professional engineering experience with good balance of:
-General Engineering
-Reverse Engineering
-Testing
-Problem Solving
-Technical Process Writing
-Task management
We also need you to have prior experience with Mobility (Rail and Marine ) to the power oil and gas sectors.
Additionally, it's crucial that you possess relevant experience in gearboxes, cardan shafts, flexible coupling, rail couplers, etc.
You'll also need to be the following:
-Fluent in technical and conversational English
-Understanding of production and manufacturing processes
