We have been retained as a trusted recruitment partner to an established and renowned software solutions and managed services to the emergency services industry . Who are currently hiring for a Support Engineer to work onsite in Fareham with travel to other sites around the UK when required.
Please note this role is subject to rotating shifts ; Standard Working Pattern: 2 x days 07.00 - 19.00, 2 x nights 19.00 - 07.00, 4 days off. 24/7/365 shift pattern
Required Skills / Environment
Must be a driver with full UK driving license
Must be eligible to undergo SC Security Clearance (past 5 years UK based with no long breaks overseas)
Minimum of 2-year service desk experience at either a 1st or 2nd line level.
Experience of Shift working Day and night. Fixed 12 hour shift rotation.
Proven experience administering and working with Microsoft Windows 10, Windows Server up to 2016
Working knowledge of MSSQL Application
Practical experience in TCP/IP network support
Microsoft Applications experience including Excel, Visio, Word
ITIL best practice knowledge
Salary: GBP25k-GBP30k basic + GBP5400 shift allowance and benefits
