Peel Technical are recuriting for a well establishd, market leading construction / utilities company. Our client is having great success with the expansion of a Severn Trent Water contract and need a Quantity Surveyor to oversee the successful delivery and further growth of this.
You will need to have previous construction / utilities commercial experience including valuation of works, knowledge of excel, contract administration including management and verification of subcontract payments, day to day commercial management of subcontractors, compilation and submission of early warnings to main client.
Day-to-day responsabilities:
Subcontract accruals
Processing, approval and administration of subcontract payments
Cash allocation and cash forecasting
Preparation and submission of Applications for Payment to main client.
Resolution of queries with main client.
Forecasting, and budget formulation.
Qualifications:
Preferably educated to A Level / degree standard in a construction related discipline together with demonstrable experience in the construction / utilities sector.
