Asbestos Analyst/Surveyor

Element has the opportunity for an Asbestos Analyst / Surveyor to join our team at Wylfa power station (accommodation provided) to undertake compliance duties on a permanent basis. This is a great time to join a leading global Testing, Inspection and Certification business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Undertaking smoke testing and enclosure integrity checks, background, leak, reassurance, clearance and personal air testing
Conduct 4 stage clearances for certification of re-occupation following completion of asbestos removal works
Ensuring asbestos contractors on site are adhering to Health and Safety procedures with regards to asbestos
Liaising with the clients on a regular basis to provide up to date information
Collating accurate information and writing comprehensive reports as required
Conducting management surveys, refurbishment and demolition surveys and re-inspections
SKILLS
It is essential that the candidate must hold the P402, P403 and P404 qualification or the RSPH equivalent
History of working within a UKAS accredited consultancy
Must be able to show significant demonstrable experience in air-monitoring and 4 stage clearances
Have previous experience conducting all aspects of surveying from re-inspections to large scale management, refurbishment and demolition surveys
Will be fully conversant with Health & Safety procedures and HSG248 'The analyst guide' in relation to asbestos
Preferably familiar with the Teams asbestos software
Will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
