The Kimberley School is a vibrant secondary school with a high-achieving, sixth form. The school enjoys superb facilities and will take over a Sports Centre (formerly known as Kimberley Leisure Centre) from September 2022, which will further enhance the provision for our students and community. The Kimberley School is part of East Midlands Education Trust. All staff across the Trust enjoy professional development and career opportunities that are not possible in a stand-alone academy.

We require a hardworking, dedicated and friendly Estates Assistant with relevant knowledge of health and safety and handy person skills to join our highly valued Estates team. The successful applicant will ensure that the school remains a safe and tidy environment in order to promote safe, happy and productive learning. The successful person will be working a 3 weekly rotating shift system that includes one Saturday or Sunday.

The role will support the provision of effective caretaking, lettings, pool management, building and grounds maintenance. Previous experience in a similar role together with experience in pool management or a trade such as plastering, plumbing, grounds maintenance or sports management would be a distinct advantage. Duties are varied, and the successful applicant must be able to work using their own initiative alongside our friendly and committed team.
