Field Service Technician
Scully UK Ltd, based in Winsford, Cheshire is a small division of an International Company, seeking an energetic, positive Field Service Technician who has strong technical skills to assist us in providing excellent service to our customers in the UK and Southern Ireland. Our brand is recognized worldwide for exceptional safety, quality and service and our focus is on protecting people and the environment. We engineer and manufacture safety controls for fuel storage and transport of hazardous liquids.
Main duties of the Field Service Technician, but not limited too & responsibilities:
Provide field service support to include preventative and corrective maintenance of Electronic Overfill Prevention, Static Grounding and Vehicle Identification Systems
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve customer technical issues via phone and at the customer site.
Repair of some Warranty returns at facility workshop.
Commissioning of new equipment.
Respond to customer product inquiries.
Repair, test and maintain equipment.
Make recommendations to customer maintenance technicians.
Assist in providing technical input to customer proposals and presentations.
Approximately Forty percent travel within UK & Southern Ireland with nights away and office-facility based.
Arranging customer visits and planning trip itinerary to assigned locations with support from Technical Manager.
Product assembly work.
Required Qualifications & Experience needed for the Field Service Technician
BTEC ONC, or 2361 City & Guilds, or NVQ Level 3 in electronics/electrical engineering.
Experience preferred wihin an electrical or field electrical service role.
Ability to read and work with schematics & familiar with various electronic testing equipment and procedures.
Ability to conduct technical presentations and training
Relevant Engineering experience in the transportation or petroleum industries would be a benefit.

Confidence to interact at all levels.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with high level of organization skills.
We are a small team, so need you to have a positive mindset, can-do attitude with willingness to take on additional tasks supporting each other where needed and adapt to change.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Have general skill to work with the most common software systems (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and within our CRM system (training given)
Driver s License with at least two years of driving experience.
Salary of the Field Service Technician: Basic GBP30,000.00 per year, however negotiable upon experience
